A native of Massachusetts, Joe was the author of two previous novels - "In the Wake of the Night" and "Snow Hill" - as well as dozens of short stories. He was a member of the Horror Writers Association.

Frank Roger was born in 1957 in Ghent, Belgium. His first story appeared in 1975. Since then his stories appear in an increasing number of languages in all sorts of magazines, anthologies and other venues, and since 2000, story collections are published, also in various languages. Apart from fiction, he also produces collages and graphic work in a surrealist and satirical tradition. Brendan Connell was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1970. He has had fiction published in numerous magazines, literary journals and anthologies, including McSweeney’s, Adbusters, Leviathan 3 (The Ministry of Whimsy 2002), Strange Tales (Tartarus Press 2003) and Fast Ships, Black Sails (Nightshade Books 2008).
